The Board of Directors of The Frankie Manning Foundation wishes to thank Olivia Fortunato for her four years of service as our Co-Social Media Coordinator. During this time, Olivia created informative and entertaining posts, updated many of our administrative procedures, and redesigned our website. She worked hard to provide a smooth transition for her replacement, and continued to support FMF after she graduated from law school, began work as a lawyer, and passed the bar exam. We wish her the best in her new career.

The Board also wishes to thank Danielle Ingram-Spriggs for her three years as Co-Social Media Coordinator. Danielle contributed to creating engaging posts, then turned her focus to handling communications for FMF. She did a terrific job of replying to emails, connecting board members with inquiries, and recording these interactions. We wish her the very best in her current endeavors, which include working in the LGBTQ+ mental health field and doing administration for Lindy hop events across the country.

The Frankie Manning Foundation is exceedingly grateful to Olivia and Danielle for their superb work, dedicated service, and thoughtful contributions to our organization and to the swing dance community.
Now, we are delighted to welcome Malin Grahn-Wilder as our new Social Media Coordinator, who brings much experience in the world of Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz Dance to the position. In addition to teaching and conducting research in philosophy and gender studies at the universities of Helsinki and Jyväskylä (2007–present), Malin worked as Arts Education Coordinator and Venue Manager at the Bronx Music Heritage Center in New York, run by the Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation. As a teaching artist for Center for Arts Education and other organizations, she taught dance programs for at-risk children and youth in diverse neighborhoods of New York City (2016–2017). Over several years, she taught dance education workshops at many well-established Finnish cultural institutions. Malin is thrilled to be contributing to the international swing dance community through her work with FMF.
