The Frankie Manning Foundation is excited to announce a special film presentation. Dance historian, Tradition-bearer and scholar Prof. E. Moncell Durden will share full interview footage of his stirring conversation with the late Frankie Manning. A snippet of which can be seen within Prof. Durden’s powerful documentary about the black dance continuum “Everything Remains Raw”.

This never-before-seen footage will take a raw and uncut look into the man who was one of the greatest ambassadors of Lindy Hop and Jazz. We hope you join us for this rare viewing and be sure to stick around for an insightful discussion about the interview and Prof. Durden’s work with FMF Board member LaTasha Barnes after the film.
